Nutritionally Ahead is registered with the NDIS. We are experienced in working with people living with a disability, and have been providing services within the NDIS for over four years.

Nutritionally Ahead has extensive experience in working with autism spectrum, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual disability and mental health consumers. We can assist you or your participant in a number of ways, such as:
  • Cooking sessions in your/your participant’s home to increase independent living and nutrition related cooking skills
  • Creating visual tools and educational materials to support meal planning and cooking skills
  • Dietary assessments
  • Dietary behaviour change therapy and education
  • Feeding regimens
  • Food label reading skills training
  • ​Food shopping tours
  • Guidance for carers, support workers and staff in cooking skills and nutritional knowledge
  • Individually tailored dietary advice and nutrition/meal plans
  • Individually tailored recipes
  • Managing Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) and nutritional supplements
  • Meal time management skills training
  • Nutrition education sessions such as:
    • How to choose suitable foods when eating out, including eating at fast food outlets, and food courts
    • How to understand and order from menus
    • ​Portion control
  • Shopping skills training
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) meal planning and menu reviews
All services can be delivered via:
Home visits (Illawarra/Shoalhaven and Sydney regions) 
​In clinic - ​Padstow (Sydney) or Woonona (Wollongong)
Telehealth - Online via Zoom
