How Our InBody Scanner Powers Your Health Journey & Strengthens NDIS Reports
Our cutting-edge InBody scanner is a powerful tool to empower participants with a deeper understanding of their health, while also providing objective, evidence-based data to strengthen NDIS reports.
The data from the scan can be a powerful tool for:
Ultimately, the data from the scan is a powerful tool to help you or your participant live a healthier, more independent life.
The data from the scan can be a powerful tool for:
- Providing Measurable Progress: The scan provides objective data, such as segmental muscle mass, which is more meaningful than a traditional scale. For example, we can report on:
- Lower Body Goals: How an increase in muscle mass in a participant's lower limbs contributes to their ability to stand or walk.
- Upper Body Goals: How an increase in muscle mass in their arms and torso contributes to their ability to use a manual wheelchair or improve their independence with daily tasks.
- Monitoring Holistic Health: The scan provides a comprehensive view of a participant's health that goes beyond muscle and fat. It measures visceral fat (fat around the organs), which is a key indicator of overall health, and intra/extra cellular water, which can be used to monitor inflammation and hydration.
- Justifying Your Ongoing Supports: The scan helps to justify that your dietetic support is both "reasonable and necessary" by demonstrating the value and effectiveness of the plan.
- Goal Setting and Motivation: The scan provides tangible, motivating data that helps participants feel more empowered and engaged with their health journey. Seeing your progress in a detailed report can boost your confidence and help you stick to your goals.
Ultimately, the data from the scan is a powerful tool to help you or your participant live a healthier, more independent life.
Please note: The InBody scan requires the participant to stand on the device and remain still for a brief period. The service is available at our clinics, and our scanner is also portable for home visits in easily accessible locations with a ground floor or a lift.
